Russell Mefford, founder of the Muscle Shoals, Ala., jam/rock band The
Fiddleworms has asked me to upload two live shows I've taped to the
Live Music Archive. One show is soundboard and the second is an
audience recording. Both shows will be uploaded in FLAC format.
The band has recently updated their web site, www.fiddleworms.com, and
wants to include links to these shows on the LMA. The band allows both
audio and video taping. Examples of my sons band videos can be found
at www.youtube.com/will24411.
If this email is not sufficient, I can have the band's web site
manager, Tom Blessing, email you and if that is insufficient, I can
have Russell email you as well. You can also find two quotes
attributed to stories I wrote for the local newspaper on the band's
opening page.
Some additional information, the band's label is Heart of Gold
Records. Their bassist, David MacKay, is the husband of Donna Jean
Godchaux MacKay, vocalist for Donna Jean and the Tricksters and
formerly of the Grateful Dead.
Her son Zion Godchaux' band, Boombox, is an LMA member.
The Fiddleworms would also like to take advantage of the popularity of
the LMA as another means of sharing their music.
Sincerely, Russ Corey, for The Fiddleworms
